Every year, talented players complete school without securing a university placement or a position within a major provincial structure. Many of these players still have the ability, discipline and potential to progress, but lack access to a structured development pathway.
Eland Sport Academy was created to give these athletes another opportunity to develop. Through professional coaching, high-performance training, academic or vocational development and greater player exposure, we help players continue building toward a future in rugby while preparing for life beyond the game.

Many talented young players lose momentum after school, Craven Week or unsuccessful university and provincial applications. Without access to coaching, facilities, education and competitive opportunities, promising rugby careers can end before players have had the chance to reach their full potential.
Eland Sport Academy identifies and supports players who may have been overlooked by traditional pathways. We provide a disciplined environment in which athletes can continue developing their physical ability, technical skills, game understanding and professional profile.

While selection, placement and professional contracts cannot be guaranteed, every player is given the opportunity to train, develop and present their potential within a disciplined and professional academy environment.
